Andressa’s goal is to become the first Brazilian Female Astronaut and she’s been doing all she can to face this challenge. Andressa, at the age of 24, has already accomplished the following experiences:

  • Embry-Riddle Aeronautics University – Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering
  • ZeroG – Scientific Microgravity Flight

  • Project PoSSUM – Advanced PoSSUM Space Academy

  • NASA SpaceCamp – Advanced Space Academy

  • CERN – Intern at the LHC Control Center
  • Eagle Cam Project – Photos and Wi-Fi data on the Moon

The challenges are countless and difficult but since she was a young girl Andressa dreams of going to space and takes her dream very seriously. Andressa is an example that everyone should follow their dreams and is an incentive for more and more women to get involved in the STEM area.
